Mary KellyIf you are looking for a networking home, look no further, you have come to a very special place! I have the honor and privilege of welcoming you to the Colorado Springs Women's Express Network, CSWEN for short. In our three short years of existence, CSWEN has experienced phenomenal growth by focusing on providing an open, friendly and welcoming environment to guests and members. That environment is the foundation for our monthly luncheons, opportunities for professional growth, and building solid relationships with the most dynamic business women in the Pikes Peak area. While not a "leads" group, we support our members through our "MUMS" or Members Utilizing Member's Services program at every opportunity. We'd love for you to join us for lunch at the fantastic Garden of the Gods Club on the 2nd Friday of each month from 11:15 am to 1:00 pm. Against the beautiful backdrop of the Garden of the Gods it could be hard to concentrate on business, but we rarely have that problem. Our outstanding programs, whether a speaker or networking event, keep us engaged while having fun and learning – a wonderful combination. The all-volunteer Executive Board runs the business of CSWEN behind the scenes to make sure all members receive maximum benefits from their membership. Members are encouraged to take an active role in CSWEN by working on committees, sharing their knowledge and often stretching their comfort zone to new heights. By getting involved, our members make CSWEN the jewel that it is. The American Business Women's Association (ABWA), our parent organization, was started to further opportunities for women in business, over 60 years ago and that vision has never wavered. CSWEN is proud to be a part of ABWA and enjoy the benefits of this national affiliation. We are also proud to live up to the Mission of ABWA:
To bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition. As the 2011-2012 President of CSWEN, please accept my invitation to come join us for lunch and consider becoming a member of the best networking home in the area. To the members of CSWEN, I pledge to keep up with and follow in the huge footsteps of our past presidents to make your experience the best it can be. Mary Kelly, President
