About Our Panel:
Trish Grihalva
Trish Grihalva, CPA, MBA, is the owner of Forest Financial & Accounting Services LLC. She will be presenting the latest changes in taxes and what to do if the IRS contacts you. She has over 30 years experience in public accounting and private industry. Graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, Trish has served as CFO and Controller for a variety of companies and held several professional positions in the public accounting arena, including two of the "Big 8" international accounting firms. Her experience as a Certified Public Accountant in both California and Colorado has provided her with a broad expertise in financial operations and tax. Currently Trish's specialty is with small businesses and individuals, assisting with QuickBooks training and support as well as a significant tax practice.
Kathy Bylkas
Kathy Bylkas, EA, is the owner of Your TaxLady, LLC. She will be presenting best practices for documenting your personal and business expenses. She has over 30 years of tax preparation experience and has owned her own business for over 24 years. Originally from Seattle, Kathy has been in Colorado Springs for the past five years. She is an Enrolled Agent for the IRS and has over 10 years of experience as a QuickBooks pro. She also belongs to the BBB and Chamber of Commerce. You can listen in on the local FOX TV station for her "Tax Tips Thursday" advice. She is the author of two books, "The 10 Biggest Mistakes Small Business Owners make on Their Tax Returns," and "The 10 Biggest Mistakes People Make on Their Tax Returns."
